How do I set up groupings?
Manually Create Groups
- Click on the Participants tab on the left hand side of the unit.
- Click on the Actions (cog) menu.
- Select Group.
- Click on the Groupings tab.
- Click Create Grouping.
- Enter a Name for the grouping (e.g. Practical Grouping).
- Enter a Grouping Description.
- Click Save changes.
- Click on the Groups in grouping icon to add groups to the groupings.
- Select the groups you wish to add to the groupings by highlighting the group and clicking Add.
- Once you have finished click Back to groupings.
Class Group Sync
Unit convenors can automatically create groups in iLearn based on student enrolments. These groups will be refreshed on a daily basis, meaning that when students change classes in eStudent, these changes will be reflected in these auto-created iLearn groups.
